Prescription Access PA began with a simple question:
“Why is this medication so expensive here, and where can I get it for less?”
The project was founded by Ria Gandotra, a high school student, after volunteering at her local food bank. There, she saw firsthand how many people struggled not only with putting food on the table but also with affording the medications they needed to stay healthy. That experience sparked the creation of a resource to make prescription access clearer and more affordable for all.
Essential medications shouldn’t be out of reach for anyone. When people delay or skip refills, conditions can worsen and small problems can arise. We built this platform to bring clear, trustworthy information into one place, so price isn’t the reason someone goes without needed care.
